The Interview

After your Berklee guitar audition you will have 15 minutes to speak with an admissions representative. Many people neglect this part of the audition, but the interview does count to your overall success of getting in to Berklee.
The interviewer will ask you many questions about your goals and ambitions. Some of the questions are very similar to those on your application, so prepare.

Example Questions:

  • Why Berklee?
  • What is your musical background/resume?
  • What are your musical achievements?
  • What do you have to offer to Berklee aside from music?
  • What are your future ambitions?
  • Do you think you can handle the difficult course load?
  • Do you have any questions? (this is your chance to ask any question you want so come prepared)
